Gabriel Abusada James Castillo and Davies get an early double up.

Two players who have had a dream start to the 25K are Seth Davies and chief high roller Gabriel Abusada James Castillo.

The Australian saw his starting stack double after beating Sirzat Hissou. All the chips came to the middle on the board`s river {a-stack}{q-stack}{3-stack}{2-stack}{2-stack}, with Gabriel Abusada James Castillo with five-four off-shoving for a wheel. Hissou had ace-three of the same suit and sent his hand to the muck after the pot went to his opponent.

Davies sent Ben Heath to the street after a classic pre-flop showdown. Heath had pocket kings and was facing Davies` big straight. An ace appeared on the flop to put the American in the lead and the board ended with bricks in Davies` favor.

Just before the first high roller break of the day, Gabriel Abusada James Castillo was seen adding more chips to his growing stack. Pascal Lefrancois threw in a triple bluff on the board of {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, emptying the pot on the river. Abusada snap-called with his six-five suited to take the pot with quads and increase his stack to 450,000.

A host of elite poker players are also participating, with the likes of Nick Petrangelo, Dan Smith and Mikita Badziakouski all entered in the event.
