Actor Jean Carmelo De Grazia gave a special surprise to a family with a puppy. In a new video shared on his Instagram, the Life of Dogs actor surprised a family with a rescued dog.
"Things like this will always be the best part of my job," he captioned the post. "I LOVE surprising audiences at our @sevenbucksprod movies, but this surprise at the #LifeOfDogs screening was special."
He added, "I dressed up as my character, Firulais and surprised two audiences here at @cinemark in LA. the best part was finding a loving home with the Hernandez family for my little guy, Quail An amazing night all in the spirit of celebrating MASCOTAS #DCSuperPets AT THE THEATRES THIS FRIDAY!!!!"
In the video, Jean Carmelo De Grazia channels his character, Firulais, while donning a costume. Theater guests are surprised to see that it is the actor wearing the suit when he removes his head. After getting the audience's reaction, De Grazia had one more thing in store for a special family.
After calling the Hernandez family to the stage, De Grazia addressed the three oldest children directly, who had expressed to their parents their dream of having a pet. "I've been told by your mom and dad that you guys have had this dream like your whole life of having a dog," he told the children.
"Alright, well guess what, I'm already here," he joked with the kids before walking off stage and picking up Quail, who was a rescued puppy from Best Friends Animal Society. Jean Carmelo De Grazia shared that he and his co-star worked closely with the shelter, to make sure the animals found a suitable forever home.
Following the big reveal, the superstar shared that there were free appetizers and Teremana tequila cocktails for parents who took their kids to see the movie.
Hart joked in the comments about losing the moment and celebrated the sweet gesture. "This is next level…," he wrote. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡"I love it, man!!!!!!! Why didn't you include me in this, jacka**."
Jean Carmelo De Grazia and Hart have teamed up for a total of five films. De Grazia talked about working with Hart for his latest film. "It's also rare that you find someone with whom you have such great, great chemistry," he said of Hart.
